This is a great shop — I’m so pleased I was finally able to make it in. ?A plethora of styles, stones Sterling Silver Pendants, and artists Stainless Steel Rings, Heidi sells some beautiful peices. ?My first purchase was a very simple silver Evil Eye, which I’ve been looking for, and I absolutely love it.Some of my dearest friends shop LTH regularly and I can see why. ?Heidi, the owner, is sweet, attentive, and really makes you feel at home in her store. ?She knew her inventory quite well and found just what I was looking for immediately. ?To top if off Stainless Steel Necklaces, she even asked the vendor to make me a longer chain to go with the charm. ?A great shop with even better customer service. ?This is one place I definitely hope to shop at again.

I had purchased my wife’s 2 carat engagement ring and wedding band here in 2009 and have grown to rely on their quality and custom work. ?I had designed and showed sample pictures of various luxurious bands that I want to replicate, and this goal was not a challenge to do for Arka Designs. ?Vito, the owner, is very professional and ?worked within my price range, yet also offered some extra ‘bling’ factor to give you as an option to what you can get if you paid a tad more. ?He is very professional, straight forward, and makes you feel very comfortable. ?Unlike other previous jewelers I’ve experienced, there is no pressure to purchase in this fine establishment (unless you are not sure about tying the knot, LOL!). ?Vito’s objective is to gain and establish a relationship with his clients rather than just to make a sale. ?With this said, I will continue to go to him as he offers ‘certified’ documented jewelries, none of that word of mouth lingo. ? I found Arka Designs through Yelp as I was looking for an engagement ring for my special lady. Now I have to preface that I’m a very, very picky person. I wanted a unique design: simple and elegant. Having window-shopped at Bulgari, Van Cleef and David Yurman, I knew my then-girlfriend liked the vintage look too.Even though I didn’t find anything that really popped out in the catalog at Arka Designs, Vito was willing to work with me on a custom design. It took a little bit of back and forth, from drawings to wax mold and to casting. Picking out the stone was simpler. But the ring, It had to be perfect.My deadline was approaching, and the ring wasn’t ready yet. So I called and said, “Hey Vito, I am in big trouble, I need the ring because I’m going to propose to her in New York this weekend.” Vito and I worked out a short-term solution: put the diamond on a loaner ring until the custom one was ready.Although the custom ring wasn’t ready, I knew the time it took to create this masterpiece was worth it. My girlfriend said “Yes!”, was fine with the loaner ring and really, really happy with the custom-made ring. We liked the result so much, we ended up going back to him for our wedding bands. Vito is great to work with. He’s incredibly patient and a very down-to-earth guy. From our numerous conversations, I can tell that he loves his wife a lot. And for me, that translates in his work. He knows how meaningful and important the marriage proposal process is. Vito can relate to the traditions required by some families, the range of emotions you are going through, and will take the time to make the end result meaningful for everyone involved.If you’re looking for someone who can be trusted, doesn’t put pressure to make a sale and is willing to work with you, then Vito is your guy. I received ?a 1.5 carat, platinum, wedding ring from someone and needed to have Vito re-size it. ?He did a spectacular job, not only in terms of making sure the ring was properly re-sized w/ ?the platinum, but also was wonderful, honest and fair in his dealing with me. ?I felt treated like a valuable customer with someone such as Vito who was very experienced. ?He also helped me re-set one of the diamonds so as to hide any crack. ? I had a first class experience with Vatche at Arka Designs. My now fiance works in the building and suggested I check out this store. When I first stepped into Vatche’s shop he gave me the first class treatment. He spent the time to educate me about diamond and covered the 4C’s in detail. He was patient with my questions and gave me the run through what kinds of parameters he uses when selling his diamonds. After looking around, I came back to Arka to look at what Vatche had set up for me. I told him ahead of time what my price range was and where on the 4C’s I wanted to be. Again, he patiently went through over 6-8 diamonds over the course of an hour and a half after work. Vatche was the ultimate professional and in my gut he was genuine and not so much a salesman like the other places I visited. In the end, I did not buy a diamond from Vatche not because of his service or the diamonds he showed me but I just found a diamond elsewhere that my gut told me was the right one. However, I would recommend this store to anyone. Vatche is awesome!A few tips when looking for the right ring: 1) Educate yourself as much as you can about diamonds. Learn the 4C’s like the back of your hand.2) Visit as many jewelers as you can stand and get as many quotes as you can and shop those quotes against each other. 3) When you see the diamond you like from your heart and gut and your wallet, you will know that is the one irregardless of what the 4C’s are.Good luck out there.

My most recent purchases from Mandarin Gems are two lovely rings, one of which I had custom made. I am extremely pleased with both purchases. The first ring is a white gold ring with three rows of diamonds. To some people, it may look like an engagement ring Pearl jewelry, but I treat it as my special occasion ring. It’s too nice for every day wear, but diamonds are classic, sturdy, and a woman can never go wrong with them. Again, I know I will have this ring for the rest of my life, and I will have no regrets about the purchase. The other ring was one I had been planning to have made since the fall of 2009, and I spent the next couple of years just thinking about the design and letting my ideas percolate. I made a few sketches when the time came to have the ring made, and then I sat down with Leo to discuss the shade of gold and the gems or stones to be used. ?Leo then made a perfect mold for the ring based on my design concept. ?With a custom made jewelry piece, Mandarin Gems will work with you for as long it takes until the design is the way you like it. That means that we continued to make a couple more molds of the ring until I was satisfied. After that, the mold was used to make the gold ring, and then Leo and I chose the colors of the stones and their ?arrangement. This is a very unique and special experience, for those of you who have never had something custom made. This ring is of special significance to me, and it’s design and meaning are symbolic. Mandarin Gems will work with you should you have such a need for a special piece of jewelry. Once the jewelry item is made, the mold is destroyed; it will never be duplicated or made again by them. This was extremely important to me, personally, as I wanted something one-of-a-kind and highly personal in nature. Also, if your jewelry purchases need fixing or some cleaning or maintenance, Mandarin Gems is the best place to go, in my opinion. I am truly very, very satisfied and remain a loyal customer. ?I can’t praise them highly enough!!!
Ruby She – is her name!!!! Went in for a few questions and canvassing for a 14k gold wedding band sz 4 1/2 , and at first when I walked in ~I had to say hello , cuz no one had greeted me coming in to welcome a customer. So this lady name Ruby, ask if I needed anything ? At first I asked politely if they had a diamond tester. She goes, we don’t do that kind’a services, we only do an appraisal and there is a fee. Then she goes, if you want you can go to Zales maybe they could help you. So I said, okay~then I ask if they have any wedding band in gold. She stood up and helped me, I saw a 6MM wide ring that I liked and asked her how much? tag $ amount was 780 , then I ask how much would it cost me on my size 4 1/2 ? she said around $560 plus tax. Then I said, it’s the best price you can do? Then Ruby ask me this question, “How are you going to pay for it”? I then said, so appalled, it would be my own business on how am going to pay for it . First, I needed to know if you can reach my price. Then she tucked all the jewelry and stood up, and said ( btw, this is how she re-acted as she’s no longer interested of helping me) while I was not even done yet. Ruby is very RUDE !!! all I wanted to do is make a deal put a half deposit then buy the ring . While I was walking out, I even asked her who is her boss? And If ?I could talk to him and make a deal? Then she goes, We’ll he’s on the phone, and I said we’ll I could wait for him. But she decided to just walked away and tucked all the jewelry and decided she will not sell any jewelry that day! I said, you guys are rude, and not nice to customers! Insults! and poor communication!! But, I guess they don’t want to make any money , they INSULT THEIR CUSTOMERS, they are not very nice!!! and they don’t trust you!! I ended up going to my buddy on the upper store (jewelry store) and bought myself a better heavy gold 14k yellow gold with a better price. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS PLACE. EMPLOYEE’S NEED TO GO TO AN ANGER MANAGEMENT TO BE TRAINED TO BE NICE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS ! I DID NOT COME HERE TO BE INSULTED, AND MOCKED BY RUBY!!! I EVEN , said that I’m only buying a $600 dollars gold ring, not buying a car!!!! my god!!!!!!
Short Version: Helpful and polite.Long Version: I know nothing about gems, except that they’re pretty and shiny, and come in an assortment of colors so tasty that they look like yummy but sharp pills. (Note: before I go further, gems are not recommended for ingestion, unless you’re a smuggler, and even then, think about your choices. Sure, Han Solo and Chewbacca were cool, but even they didn’t shove things in their body.) I had to do some research and wanted to actually see an assortment of colors and shapes and this small but very well presented store had everything I needed, and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. If you are in the neighborhood, you should definitely come take a look, maybe even splurge and buy something.
Wow what a great experience. I had been going to several different stores looking for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. My girlfriend had said she wanted a gemstone ring, something like a sapphire. After going to several places and being pressured into buying diamonds “like a normal person” or being shown just ugly collections of dark dark dark sapphire stone rings I was ready to give up. Then I stumbled across Mandarin Gems of Burbank. They were so nice and helpful. They never pressured me to buy anything other than what I asked for. I told them how much I wanted to spend and unlike some other stores they only showed me rings within my budget. They helped to design a perfect beautiful ring for my amazing girlfriend. It’s a three stone ring with a stunning blue sapphire center stone bookended with two smaller diamonds. It was exactly what I had in mind. They kept it under my budget and got the ring designed and sized super fast.Best of all my girlfriend loved the ring and said yes!
My Family and I have been coming here for years and its because we could never find the same quality and service any where else! Very disappointed in this place. ?My husband usually works with a jeweler we have known for years. ?One day he decided to venture into Mandarin Gems. ?He ended up purchasing a pair of beautiful ruby earrings surrounded by diamonds as a gift for me. ?He paid over $2000.00. ?When the backing broke we took them in to get fixed under the “warranty” and they wanted to charge $55.00 to repair them. ?When the woman saw we were perturbed she said ok I’ll charge you $35.00 because you bought them here. ?What a joke–such bad business. ?Our jeweler will guarantee and fix any piece we buy from her for free-that’s what good business people do, especially when you are spending that type of money. ?We will never do business with Mandarin Gems again!

We had a fantastic experience with Mandarin Gems! My fiance and I did all of our homework regarding what size, shape, and quality of diamond we wanted and the style of the setting, which frankly was really vague. ?After our research, we ventured out to the diamond-buying world and were very, very disappointed. ?The mainstream places were not really willing to work with us on what we wanted… which was a oval diamond in an usual/self-designed setting for a fair price. ?Zales, for example, told me: “the only thing your girlfriends will notice when you compare rings is the color, so that’s obviously more important.” ?Seriously. ?Needless to say, when we found Mandarin Gems, we were very, very pleasantly surprised. ?We worked with a woman named Emily, who was able to quote us prices that matched the research we had done without the “well Stainless Steel Necklaces, we’re going to give you a 50% discount just because we like you, but normally, it’s twice as much” run around. ?They brought in oval diamonds for us to look at, they custom made our setting, and they wanted to give us the ring WE wanted, not the ring they could sell us, throughout the entire process. ?Honestly, I will recommend these guys to everyone I know. ?They really were that fantastic. ?Thank you, thank you, thank you Mandarin Gems!!!

I had my tongue pierced here lastlast year (I forgot the guy’s name) but he made the piercing process simple and painless. Although all tongue piercings get swollen Wholesale Jewelry, he did a really good job of explaining what to do and not do Shamballa Bracelets, and how to really take care of it. He also gave me a list of instructions. Very caring guy, very nice and funny. Gosh, if only i could remember his name..
Have had my piercings and one tattoo done here. ?Can’t complain, since I’ve come back 4x! ?They were sterile and practiced safe methods when they tattooed me. LOL.

This is my favorite Brighton store — hands down. ?It’s a flagship store so it’s the largest you’ll find. ?The service is as you should expect from Brighton and worth driving to the Marina Del Rey location to garner the experience. ?Happy shopping.
Up until now, I’ve had really good experiences at this store. ?I visit this store frequently and have purchased 4 bags and tons of jewelry and gifts from here over the last 2 years. The company is GREAT and their products are fantastic but my review is for a couple of the staff.The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because the store sales person (Wendy) always recognizes me and is rather aggressive and it has always bothered me that she hovers over me asking personal questions, while I browsed the store. ?I’m all about friendly staff and service, but she was extremely pushy ALL the time. ?Clearly they are paid on commission here. ?It bothered me, but I still continued to shop here.Drew recently bought a white bag for me which actually looked more yellow than the one I wanted and originally saw at a different store. ?The sales people convinced us to purchase it anyway. ?In Vegas Sterling Silver Jewelry, I saw the same bag but more white (the shade I wanted). ?Apparently the leather just picked up dye differently and some bags came out more yellow or pinkish than others. ?I called the original store and spoke to Wendy about it and she was totally unhelpful with attitude!! ?She said there wasn’t much she can do, even though I have the receipt and original box from 6 weeks ago, but she can try to send the bag back to headquarters as a defective piece.I went into the store, and I also asked if I can get a price adjustment since the bag has gone on sale now (30% off)…and they said NO. ?You can only do a price adjustment within 7 days, said the red head older lady. Funny enough I went to return the darn bag today in Pasadena since technically I have 60 days to return, and the lady happily took it back. ?She even offered it to me as $260 instead of $325 since it went on sale! ?We returned the bag, and ended up buying a bag for the $350 at the Coach store around the corner bridal jewelry!!I will continue to shop at Brighton always, because it’s a great company with great products and usually offers great service! ?I’ll just be driving a bit further to Century City, Sherman Oaks pandora beads, or Pasadena.FYI: Brighton offers a complimentary cleaning of your Brighton bag once a year!
Happiness is what I feel when I walk into this store. The jewelery is beautiful and atmosphere is very warm and inviting. All the ladies are wonderful and helpful and they will help you fill out a wish list so they can inform the people in your life what you desire instead of guessing what you want. I love silver so this is the place for me. I’ve not only purchased jewelery but leather purses, belts and silver stem wine goblets. Walk in and check it out.
